The Course

Kawartha was a nine-hole layout until 1938 when the second nine was completed. Initially the nines were reversed, and there were once four tennis courts, which covered the present tenth tee and part of the parking lot, making #10 play straight away rather than as the dogleg it has become.

Mark Ahrens is currently the Club’s PGA Professional, having joined KGCC in 1999. Mark’s outstanding service standards earned him recognition as the Ontario PGA Professional of the Year in 2013. Lex Robson was the head golf professional from 1939 until 1965 followed by Al Hosick from 1968 through 1998.

Our course offers a thrilling experience for all golfers.
