Members who have previously been a member as an Intermediate for 5 or more years can have the EA waived. New Members may choose to pay their EA in full or with a Trial Membership. With a Trial Membership, the new member will pay $250 + HST upon joining and the remainder in the following season if they renew. |

Payment Policies |
1Regardless of the method with which you pay for your membership or your account charges, all Members must have a valid credit card on file at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS. Visa and MasterCard are the only cards currently accepted. Debit cards are not eligible to be placed on account. If your card expires or becomes compromised during the season, you must provide a new card within 14 days or your golfing privileges will be suspended.
2While KGC is cashless, Members may make cash payments when visiting the Administration Office. No change will be given. Any overpayment will result in an account credit.
3Members may pay by e-transfer at anytime towards membership fees or account charges. Once your application has been received, you will be provided with further instructions.
4Members may pay by Debit at anytime towards membership fees or account charges. When paying account charges, please make sure to stop into the Admin Office no later than the 7th of the month.
5Monthly dues are paid by automatic deduction from your chequing account only. No other methods of payment are permitted when paying dues monthly. You must provide a void cheque or PAD form from your bank and fill out a Permission to Deduct Form, which will be provided upon application. Monthly payments run from January to September on the 15th of each month unless the 15th is a weekend or holiday, in which case the payment will be scheduled for the next business day. You may be required to make a catch up payment to get on schedule. For example, if you sign up in April, you will need to make 4 payments immediately before starting your regular payments in May. Please note, most promotions do not allow Members to pay monthly. Please ask prior to submitting your application to verify if you are eligible to pay monthly. |

You will be required to inital and sign off on the following Term & Conditions prior to having your membership activated. Once your application has been received, you will be provided with a document, which you can digitally sign and email back, print, sign and scan back, or come into the office to sign in person. |

Application Acknowledgement
I hereby make application for membership in the Kawartha Golf & Country Club (1983) (KGCC) and agree to be bound by the Club By-Laws, Policies & Procedures, and Rules and Regulations now in force and from time to time enacted or amended by the Board of Directors. |

Authorization to Release Personal Information
I authorize KGCC to release personal information of the Applicant provided on the Application for Membership. This request and authorization applies to: Club Roster, Membership Handbook and GAO/Golf Canada, “Members Only” Website including Email Communication from KGCC, Bulletin Boards and Internal Advertising, Awards and Media Releases for Golfing Accomplishments, Other Purposes as Deemed Reasonable by KGCC. |

Critical Policies
Interest in the amount of 2% per month will be charged on any outstanding balance after the 10th of the month.
Under Bylaw 17.8 (c), continued non-payment of balance will result in suspension of golfing privileges.
Account numbers are confidential and are to be used only by the member. KGCC will not assume any responsibility for misuse of charging privileges. KGCC will take all reasonable measures to ensure all charges are processed correctly. In the event of an error or omission, the Club will take immediate action to correct it.
All Members aged 19 and older must meet the annual Food & Beverage Minimum of $300 by October 31. No exceptions.
Paid Membership Dues cannot be refunded for any reason after March 31. Fall Deposits will not be refunded if Member received unlimited golfing privileges due to early payment.
Membership for adults 19 and over will be automatically renewed each year. Member must notify Administration Office if cancelling their membership prior to the renewal date provided on their Dues Renewal Letter. Membership for Juniors 18 and under will NOT be automatically renewed. Member’s parent or guardian must give express consent to renew in a following year. |
